What does “Big for dates” mean?
It means at least one of the two measurements is **above the 90th percentile** for that week in this model. Your care team decides whether that is clinically important.
Why does the tool need both EFW and fundal height?
Weight and fundal height look at **different angles** of growth. Using both helps avoid overreacting to one odd reading and gives a more balanced label.
What is the “Average for dates” label?
It means neither weight nor fundal height is clearly below the 10th or above the 90th percentile in this model. You are in the broad typical band for that week.
Can I use this for twins or higher multiples?
The model assumes a **single baby**. Twin and multiple pregnancies follow different growth patterns, so you need charts and advice that match your situation.
