Is this a contraction support script for dads?
Yes, and for any other birth partner, whatever your gender or relationship: a dad or partner, a friend, a parent or a doula.
Does the style change the words?
Yes. Every "Say" line has its own version in each style: calm and steady, upbeat coach, or few words.
What do the worries do?
They add a few lines to the phases where they help, marked with the worry, such as a pain relief question in active labor or decision questions during checks.
What if they don't want me to talk?
Choose "few words". Touch, water and a calm presence count too. Follow what they want in the moment, it can change from hour to hour.
What should I ask the team?
The benefits, risks and other options, and whether there's time to think it over, unless it's urgent.
Is anything saved?
No. Nothing is stored or sent.
