Kick Count Pattern Checker
Compare today’s time to 10 kicks with your usual baseline to spot faster or slower patterns. Educational only. Not a medical diagnosis.
What is “time to 10 kicks”?
It is the number of minutes it takes you to feel **10 separate fetal movements** in one session, in a similar position and time of day.
Why compare to my own usual time?
Kick counting is mainly about **your baby’s own pattern**. Comparing today to your usual baseline is often more useful than comparing to a generic “normal” number.
Does a “similar” result mean everything is fine?
Not always. The tool only sees the minutes you enter. If **you** notice fewer movements, weaker movements or something feels wrong, contact your care provider even if the tool says “similar”.
What if I am earlier than 24 weeks?
Some people do feel movements earlier, but regular kick counting usually starts later. The tool will still work with your numbers but shows a note that it’s early for formal kick counting.
What should I do if it shows “much slower than usual”?
**Contact your midwife or maternity unit straight away, the same day.** Don’t wait to repeat a session or until the next day, and don’t rely on a kick counter or a home Doppler for reassurance.
Is this a medical device or diagnosis tool?
No. It is an educational helper to track **pattern changes** in your own numbers. It does not replace midwife or doctor advice and should never delay you from seeking care.
