Rentang AFI per minggu
Pahami hasil AFI atau kantong terdalam dari USG-mu: rentang persentil ke-5 sampai ke-95 untuk minggumu dan garis 5, 24, 2 dan 8 cm yang dipakai saat USG.
What is a typical AFI at my week?
For most of pregnancy the 5th to 95th percentile runs from about 7–10 cm up to about 18–25 cm, depending on the week. The middle is about 14 cm in mid-pregnancy and about 12 cm at 40 weeks. Enter your week to see your range.
What's the difference between AFI and the deepest pocket (SDP, MVP)?
The AFI adds up the deepest pocket in each of the four quarters of the womb. The deepest pocket is one measurement, the deepest pocket anywhere.
What AFI counts as low fluid (oligohydramnios)?
An AFI of 5 cm or less, or a deepest pocket under 2 cm.
What AFI counts as extra fluid (polyhydramnios)?
An AFI of 24 cm or more, or a deepest pocket of 8 cm or more, whatever the week.
My AFI is under the 5th percentile but above 5 cm. Is that low?
It's lower than most pregnancies at that week, but above the line scans use for low fluid. Ask your midwife or doctor what it means for you and whether another scan is planned.
My report says 120 mm. How do I enter it?
Enter 12 cm, or switch the unit to mm and enter 120.
Can AFI change from one scan to the next?
Yes. Fluid changes from day to day, and two measurements an hour apart can differ by a few centimeters.
Does drinking more water raise AFI?
Studies show a small short-term effect. Don't change anything without asking your midwife or doctor.
I think I'm leaking fluid. What should I do?
Call your midwife or maternity unit now, especially if the fluid is green, brown or smells.
Is this tool for twins?
With twins, each baby's sac is measured with its own deepest pocket. Use the deepest-pocket mode for each.
